I don’t publish all my images on my blog. I do lots of snapshots of my “day to day” on Facebook.

I started a routine a few weeks ago where I take shots of my Saturday’s breakfasts, to put a smile on my Facebook friends faces.

I had a little “crush” on this morning image, this is why I decided to post it here…

Today’s breakfast: Toasts and Raisin and Apple toasted bread, covered with “Fleur de sel” Caramel and the indispendable Smoked Maple syrup Bacon and a Cappuccino sprinkled with real pieces of black chocolat…

No water!

What a day I had. You know that kind of a day when you have a crazy plan in your head, and you actually realise it.

Plan no. 1: Let’s do a long ride on the bike. Well I treat myself, 95 kilometers from my place to the Turcotte bridge, south of Valleyfield. Rough ride has I had my second flat in a week. I had lot of energy but the back hurts a little tonight, no problem, a warm bath should fix that.

Plan no. 2: Tests of panoramic photo software on the iPhone. That was a good exercice and the winner is “Pano” from Debacle software.

When you shoot, the program display as a guide, the extreme right portion of the last shot, so you use it as a calc to match what you see in the iphone lens to do the next image, and so on.

For this pic, I took 5 images.

Don’t forget to click on the image, then on “all size” and then select “Original”.

When we say that the water level are low in our region… This image image was created on the higway 20, west of Montreal, on the bridge that seperate Pincourt to Dorion.

Red light!

I had a little mishaps Sunday last, thought I was immune to flats on my cycle, so I never bought a repair kit, then reality settled in. As my friend Pierre told me, I had to call the “family towing”. My beautiful daughter came to pick me up on the side of the road.

On the way back home, I was having my iPhone in my hand…

With this week’s heat wave, I take it more relax.

Nevertheless, I have made two nice discoveries, two very interesting photo apps on the iPhone

First of all, I have made some triptychs with the application called: Diptic.

Here is an example:

Then a really “cool” app, Swankolab by the makers of Hipstamatic. In addition to its unique interface, it allows you to create recipes with your treatment, so you can re-apply it to a future image.
