It has been 10 years since I last went to a Sugar Shack. It will take 10 years before I go again. Bad “Oreilles de christ” too…

Beautiful and ugly…

There is a certain ambiguity in a wild turkey. Taken separately, some of its attributes are beautiful, but as a whole…

Raccoons, Ecomuseum

   Posted by: fmeehan   in regular

I would have baptised them: Curly, Joe et Moe.

Very interesting little creatures to watch, very different face traits and behaviour from one animal to the next.

A face like that can do no harm.

A visit to the Ecomuseum

   Posted by: fmeehan   in regular

According to weather forecasts, this will be another rainy day, same for tomorrow and the day after…

Luckily, we should not believe everything we hear, especially from the weatherman. I decide to visit the  l’Ecomuseum , a place I wanted to see for quite a while.

For $12.50 per adult, this is a great site to visit if you are in the Montreal’s West-Island region.

It is 13:30, usually not the time to shoot outside but it is cloudy and the sky has turn into a “softbox”, little contrast, perfect!

Took a lot of nice animal shots, these will fill this blog posts for a while.

Let’s start with a bald eagle, (Haliaeetus leucocephalus).
