I love to do self-portraits, it is an exercise that is not always easy to perform, requires imagination and a good technique.
For example, for the picture below, I spent a good 45 minutes to shoot it, all alone. You should have seen the face of people walking by…

It was not straight forward to climb into that wire mesh structure, lots of metal pieces threatening to shred my pants. Since I was working in full manual mode, to achieve proper focus, I had to improvise a technique. I placed a piece of plastic where my face was meant to be. Then I slid in that metal tunnel, got my mark, took a few shots using a remote control, come out of that thing, verify results, went back in the tube to redo the sequence, over and over.
There was a lot to be learned.
Different story for the following one, all it took was 5 minutes, shooting from the hip, a cool trick to master.
