The eyes of “! titi !”

Posted by: fmeehan   in Photography, people

What a wonderful Sunday afternoon it was with the charming company of “Natur-elle!” and “! titi !” two great photographs that I met on Flickr.

We explored parts of the Saint-Hélène island, Montreal, Quebec. It was a little cold, what a nice light we had.

Here are the eyes of “! titi !”.

For the curious, the shot was taken through a ventilation exhaust on the roof of the Biosphere.

Audrey and Stéphanie

Posted by: fmeehan   in Photography, people

This winter, my photography goal is to do more portrait, more picture with people.

It is a challenge, no matter how good is your technique, to catch that smile, that golden expression, requires more than technique.

I am really happy to have 2 new young models for upcoming sessions: Audrey and Stéphanie.

These two girls are no stranger of the camera, Stéphanie played in a french Canadian TV show called Watatatow and Audrey was seen in a video clip of Shane Minor.

Here is Stéphanie:

Iron horse, Ile-Des-Moulins, Terrebonne Q.C.

Posted by: fmeehan   in Photography, structure

At l’Ile-Des-Moulins, Terrebonne, we found a strange statue.

I wanted to know the author and title, I searched the Net, did a call to the local public library and still I could not find the answers.

If you happen to know something about this, please let me know.

Picture wise, for these I used my “old” 50mm lens and poked with Nik software “Tonal contrast” plugin.

Boat ramp, Place Datura, Ile-Perrot (2)

The dock at “Place Datura” is a site I visit at least twice a week. It is a cool place for photography but when you go there as often as I do, I becomes hard to find inspiration, on the other hand, it is a nice challenge.
