Mister Cachou is holding on.
When caressed on the flank, it easy to notice that he is still losing weight. He does not like the camera anymore. Still, he is giving us lots of affection.

I was due to write this.
A new friend of mine on Facebook, did, not to long ago, a picture of a cat that closely resemble to Cachou.
Pierre asked me for a recent pic of our cat, the iPhone is so practical for that type of “quick and dirty” request.
So here we go.
My wife is also pressing me to take pictures of the cat, we are living some tough times.
Cachou has just been diagnosed with non treatable kidneys problems. According to our Vet, he only has a few months to live.
For those who don’t know Cachou, he is an “Exceptional” cat. He just turned 14, 14 years of pure joy.
Back then, it was when we were living in the great white north, in the town of Labrador City that Cachou appeared in our life.
We adopted him when he was 3 months old. He came from a family of 5 kids, 4 cats and 2 dogs, so he was “socialized” from the get go, is never afraid of people or animals and he really enjoyed the company of kids.
The first day that I took him home, it was supper time, I let the kitty loose in the house and went to joined the family at the table. As we were eating, kids heard the tiny little creature. Oh the expressions on their faces, 14 years after, it is still fresh in my memory.
Cachou is my daughter Val’s best friend. When Val is home, Cachou leave whatever he is doing to spend his time with Val.
So we live by the day, every caress, every minute spend with Cachou is a bonus. We could never be thankful enough, for all the joy he brought in our life.

Monsieur Mimi is a compagnon of Zoro et “ptit” Bob . The light was just “irresistible”.
Weird but, since I had my incident with the D90, I do more and more images with the iPhone or others old cameras. I really like the challenge they bring.

Did this shot while walking in the streets of Valleyfield P.Q.
The little creatures looked worried, thinking I was about to steal their garbages…
