The “self” comic…

Posted by: fmeehan   in Photography, Self, people, portrait, urban

This is a wall in the Old Quebec city, completely painted, called “la Fresque des Québécois”.

Everyday summer days, people are gathering in front of the wall to get their image taken.

I had to do the same…

Thanks for the moment…

It is so rewarding when the image that you have in your head is translated into pixels.

I walked in the streets of Montréal for 4 hours, just to find that particular hat.

But the results, are above my expectations.

Thanks Kamilia for posing for us…

Posted by: fmeehan   in Humour, familly & Friends, movie, people, video

Here is my response, to my Facebook friends that don’t believe in my “singing” talents.

This is not for the faint of heart.

I had so much fun doing it.

Hardware: Microphone Yeti de Blue, MacBook Pro

What a nice job!

Posted by: fmeehan   in Photography, iPhone, people

Gentlemen, can you believe this? Being paid to play with a remote controlled chopper in a store?

The funny thing, very few kids stayed around while their fathers remained there, mesmerized…

I think I want one. What a marvellous gadget to play with the Cat. I’d use it to chase my furry friend all around the house.

So yes, I really want one !

What a nice job!

Val is now 19, approaching 20, kind of being between 2 worlds: College and University.

The immediate consequence is that she no longer plays soccer and we dearly miss seeing our daughter in action. She plays hard, giving all her heart on each shift.

We really miss that. These images were taken on the last game we assisted. We sincerely hope it was not the last…

I miss seeing Val playing soccer...

He used to have hairs…

Posted by: fmeehan   in Photography, familly & Friends, people, portrait, topaz

Now that Cédric is in the Army I guess this image will go to history.

This is my first trial of Topaz adjust 5. This new version was released yesterday so it’s still hot from the oven.

I always been a fan of Topaz adjust, version 5 allows for more controls, more presets and a refined approach.

I love the way I can play with details when I use it. It can really help to bring subtle details that are harmonized with my compositions.

For those who would like to acquire the product, here is the link: Topaz adjust 5 and here is a coupon code “ADJUSTME” that will give you a 30% discount. This offer is valid until the end of the month.

Alien family photo

Posted by: fmeehan   in Humour, Ile-perrot, Photography, familly & Friends, people

I am getting to know my Aliens better and we sort of became friends after a while.

At one point, one of them showed a family photo taken on their planet.

I liked it so much that I exchanged it for a bottle of maple syrup.

They are great guys you know…

Alien Teleportation

Posted by: fmeehan   in Humour, Ile-perrot, familly & Friends, people, photostudio

I knew there were something special about the location of my last image.

So instead of shooting birds, today I went and hide myself in a bush with a long lens.

I heard a “swooosh” on my right, turned and say these creatures appearing from nowhere!

Then I duck on the ground, Man I got scared!
