Is there a name for the mania were one can’t resist taking picture when a mirror present itself?

I really like this one just for Val’s smile in the background.

This statue or very unusual montage if I may say, comes from Sainte-Flavie a village east of Sainte-Luce-sur-Mer taken during a bike ride.

Stop Mademoiselle!

Red light!

I had a little mishaps Sunday last, thought I was immune to flats on my cycle, so I never bought a repair kit, then reality settled in. As my friend Pierre told me, I had to call the “family towing”. My beautiful daughter came to pick me up on the side of the road.

On the way back home, I was having my iPhone in my hand…

It’s back! (pic)

Posted by: fmeehan   in Photography, reflection

Ahhhhh, my D90 is back in service, after 32 days 2 hours et 17 minutes.

That was long!

It feels soooo good to work with the DSLR. So much control over the image, working with RAW files and quality lenses.

It was a good lesson, working for more than a month with older “point & shoot” camera. I won’t retire them yet, I now realize there are times where they can do a pretty descent job.

This shot was taken on Sainte-Catherine street in Montreal, no superpositions; a display and some reflections from the street.

I found this beautiful mirror at “magasin général D’Aoust G & Cie” , Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Qc.

Could not resist taking the shot.
