Rainy Sundays makes me sad…

Another gem of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue cemetery

Although I am not a cemetery addict, I found the one in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue to be particular. Bound on the north side by highway 20 and the constant traffic, the others sides are complete serenity, the small road to access the cemetery is discrete and very pretty.

The place is small, filled with many beautiful sculptures and family vaults, all filled with history…

The post

This picture was taken in the trail underneath the power line that crosses Ile-Perrot. I have spent there hours, walking Rubis.

Carillon Power Dam

The image is taken on the north side of the dam. Technically my feet are in Ontario but the Dam itself is in Quebec.

Water Tower, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue

This shot was taken with my friend John’s Sygma 10-20 mm lens.

In order to compose the image the way I wanted, given the distortion on the side generated by this lens,  I had to crawl in the snow, to shoot at ground level.

Bell Tower, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue

Even tough the 105 mm lens is not a long focal length, I like the compression effects it induce in the image.

Also, I am getting better with the Bamboo tablet, I don’t use the mouse anymore for photo processing.

Ah Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue is such a great place for photography, so many things to capture in such a small area!
